Touristdrivers' Winter meeting and 75Experience/Ringhaus Trackday 10th of March

Unfortunately the annual GT4 trophy was not carry out in 2008 because of the unclear situation in the market
of virtual racing (GT4 too old, GT5 not out, with GTR2 and other PC based simulations not enough experience, yet).
So the 'Touristdrivers' Winter meeting' was the first big event this year in the 'Altes Forsthaus'.

In the supporting programme of the event we went 'back to the roots' and installed an old fashioned Carrera race
track in the seminar room, and not only the youngsters had lots of fun with it.
And at this occasion our new colleague Hans-Joachim Schella (many of you will know him as Marshall and one of the
most knowledgable guys around the Ring with more than 40 years of living Ring history) had the chance to prove his skills in the
bar. Stefan has to focus in this year even more on his job in the automotive industry because stupidly he got promoted ;-)
The stress at the Winter meeting was Hans-Joachims baptism of fire and we are hoping to have a long partnership.

We can't wait until the season is finally starting in March because this year we will again take the
steering wheel into our own hands and will compete in all series at Nordschleife. In the GLP with our
Caterhams and in RCN and VLN with the all new Ringhaus-Allard Scirocco TDI.

The Caterhams will be used this years also in the Ring trainings of Ron Simons' 75Experience. Due to the fact
that Ron moved with his company to Nurburg and he is our direct neighbour now. We decided to join forces in supplying
a better package for your Nurburgring Driving Weekends. From this year the Ringhaus caterhams will be adapted in the
75Experience instruction program which will benefit you as a customer in terms of both safety and fun. In the early
beginning of the season we are already offering an exclusive trackday on the 10th of March. Ask for a package deal
including accomodation, enrollment, and if you need a rental ringtool.

And last but not least in 2008 the German Caterham Academy under the lead of Caterham racer and importer
Kurt Hoffmann from Neuwied is getting started.

Beneath our own racing activities we also will again support the fast teams of the University Cologne
Motorsport Club and Ring-Action as good as we can.
The University team of FH Cologne has only students as team members and drivers and secured during the last
2 years already the class win of the 24h-race (and celebrated it until the early morning in the Forsthaus).
The Opel Corsa/Vauxhall Nova of Team Ring Action with driver Alexander Wolff (Quote: "Madness compensates missing
engine power") are sure to realise in this year lap times under 9 minutes for a lap of Nordschleife in the RCN.
