Some information to our Ringtools:

At some point, regular and occasional Visitors to the 'ring consider
building their own Ringtool. Regular visitors realise that the risk to
their everyday car is too great and that a road car may not be focussed
enough or have the necessary safety features for the Nordschleife.
Whilst this makes sense from one perspective, it makes little sense to
invest a considerable sum of money owning and maintaining a vehicle that
may only be used a few times each season.
When all building and running costs are taken into account, the
justification for owning your own Ringtool begins to disappear. In a
single session, the wear on items such as tyres, brake pads, brake disks
and other consumables can present a hefty bill, which takes all the fun
out your day!
To address this problem we have developed a Ringtool rental service. We
offer a range of fully prepared vehicles at very attractive prices which
at the end of your session you can leave us to maintain. There are 4 cars
available, we can source others if required from our colleagues at Rent
Race Car.

All vehicles are equipped with rollcages (a rollover bar on the Sylva Striker), a chassis developed for the
Nordschleife, bucket seats with 3 or 5 point harnesses and fire extinguishers. In addition, all cars are
road legal and are fully TUV certified for the road and the Nordschleife.
The cars can be used for public sessions, track days and club meetings. In addition, they have been used
in GLP events, endurance races and the 24 hour and are available for hire for these events.
The vehicles are maintained and safety checked by
Car Service Nurburg after each
rental. The vehicles with turbocharged engines were developed and prepared by our English technical partner,
Allard Motor Company.
