Some information about the Golf TDI 24h-Special SP10:

The Golf TDI offers around 200bhp with a weight of only 1000kg and was developed for
the 24h-Special SP10 regulations, for the long-distance championship and the 24 hour race.
The Diesel was developed as a pure race car, but is road legal and is TUV certified.
Because of this, the vehicle is available for public sessions, race meetings, for
testing and development.
The Golf's lap times on the Nordschleife are sub-9 minute.
The Golf is suitable for entry to the RCN (formerly the CHC event). Starting from the
2007 season it is eligible for entry to the alternative fuel class.. |
